Collaborative divorce is divorce without litigation and court appearances. It is a low-conflict approach by which specially trained attorneys, mental health professionals, and financial experts work with the couple to resolve the issues in a small group process. There are no judges making decisions for the family – and it is confidential.
Dr. Hohnecker is collaboratively trained neutral mental health professional who works to assist the parents in making decisions that are best for their families. She can assist the family in developing parent plans that make sense for the family. Dr. Hohnecker also helps the family communicate in a clear manner and can assist in reducing the stress and tension that can arise in these difficult situations.
Dr. Hohnecker is a member of the South Florida Collaborative Law Professionals group.
